Dolly was happy sitting in the stranger's lap. She liked being petted, she liked having the attention, and mewed sadly when she was put down. She weaved her way around Buck's ankles, still purring. Hoping that she would be picked up and cuddled with some more. She looked up at him and watched as he washed up to eat. Dolly continued to follow him until he finally sat at the table, and she paced beneath it. Her nose was in the air, smelling what the two were eating. Dolly knew better than to beg for food. It never worked before, and so, she figured, it would never work. She rubbed herself against Buck's foot as she passed, wandering into the living room to lay back onto her favorite spot, the papers rustling beneath her as she plopped down on them, her tail curling around her little body.
Naoki nibbled on a few things, his appetite waning. He didn't really want to eat very much anymore, but he still tried to eat a little. Naoki didn't want it to go to waste, and if he didn't eat now, then he'd probably go without eating for the rest of the day. However, it was normal for him to go without eating during normal daylight hours. He napped most of it away when he wasn't painting and didn't have school, anyway, so he never really felt how empty his stomach was during the day. He smiled at the small noises Buck made while he ate. Naoki glanced up at the other boy, chewing on the tips of his chopsticks. He tilted his head slightly, resting an elbow on the table, his chin in the palm of his hand. "..I'm glad you like it.." He murmured, watching the other boy eat. They were just leftovers, nothing special, but it felt nice thinking that it tasted good to someone else.
He watched curiously as Buck raised the spoon to him. So he wanted to feed him, now? Naoki let out a amused huff from his nose, and took his chopsticks from his mouth, setting them on the table. He smiled and opened his mouth, leaning forward, letting Buck feed him. Naoki found it endearing, and didn't mind the small mess it made on the table. He could clean it up later.

"I will fly to the future on mystery's wings."[/blockquote] "See? Good, isn't it? There aren't any real leftovers, Nao. They're just more patient than the non-leftovers, because they know that eventually someone'll eat them - even the strays that go into dumpsites because they know there'll be some leftovers waiting for them there." It's Buck again and his strange philosophies, and his single blue eye shimmers when his hand tilts forward to let the food slide into the mouth of Naoki. Once he's sure it's there, he removes the spoon just as carefully as he put it in - fingers almost unnoticeably letting themselves brush against flesh he's never felt before. Buck realizes that Naoki's warm, unlike Leon, who's always so cold. He smiles when he falls back into his seat, uses his spoon again to create things to which he gives names to, such as 'Fish- and-soup-and-rice-and-ketchup', or at least something catchy like 'Soupice', which can be translated to 'soup-and-rice' in human language. The redhead occasionally laughs when accidentally a rice grain ends up falling on the corners of his mouth, using his tongue to swipe it - and if he can't, picking them with his fingers and calmly popping them into his mouth. He looks towards Naoki and blinks, realizing that his companion is certainly eating less than he is, and Buck obviously wants him to have energy for the day.. even though laziness seems to radiate off of him as much as heat radiates off of the sun. However was Naoki going to help him make his occasional trips to town, delivering 'get-well-soon' cards, and his voice for songs to give to people who were down in the dumps?
Buck is thinking ahead again.
Perhaps Naoki wouldn't want to come.
"Aa, aa. Mister Hungry. Come on, you go eat, too. You're making me feel like a glutton!.. Not that I'm not, but.. this is your house, and it makes guests feel uncomfortable when the ones supposed to keep them company aren't having a good time. Please, please, please eat? If not for MiMi, then for me? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you know," Buck says, states as though he's some sort of health expert, a pout then forming on his face because he's worried for the one sitting across from him.
"I can feed you if you want me to, though, Nao! Don't be too shy to ask if you want me too, okay?" Who does he think he is? Some kind of close friend? Obviously not, well, not yet. But he's naturally an over-worrying person, and Naoki's less-than-healthy appetite is getting to him. "Just.. tell me, okay?"

Naoki had enough with eating, and had turned to playing with his food. It was a childish habit that he still had, no one really bothering to stop him when he grew up. He did it all the time when he was little, he did it all through his childhood. With no one there to really correct him, he just kept doing it and it lasted all the way up till now. When he's by himself, or even at a restaurant, once he's had his fill, Naoki plays with his food. If he knew he wasn't going to finish it, why not play with whatever's left? He might as well have fun with it before throwing it away. He squished a few little white grains between his fingers, the sticky rice holding them together, but being easily pulled apart. Rice was the most fun to play with. It was like glue when all squished up, and you could roll it into little balls and make little rice-men.
" ... That makes a lot of sense, actually..." Naoki looked up from his rice-coated fingertips at Buck. His statement was a little delayed, his comment responding to Bucky's explanation about how there weren't any real leftovers. It probably would've sounded silly to anyone else, but Naoki found it to be quite insightful. He rested his chin against his hand, again and started to suck the squished rice from his fingers, using his teeth to scrape it off. Naoki raised his eyebrows as Buck began to fuss at him about not eating. He stuck out his tongue ad Bucky spoke, rolling a pinch of rice into a tiny, sticky, ball. "Who says I'm not having a good time, huh?" He flicked the baby riceball across the table with a small smile.
At first he thought that Buck was fussing because he wanted him to stop playing in his food, but he soon realized that it wasn't the case and Buck was worried for his health. Naoki's eyebrows raised slightly. Really? Someone really cared that much? Naoki had almost forgotten that his tummy was nicknamed 'MiMi' and it made him smile to be reminded of it. He put his hands down into his lap, his smile fading away just as Buck began to pout. He was tempted to start whining about how he wasn't hungry but instead picked up his chopsticks and began just stirring things around, pretending to eat. He felt bad that he was making Buck worry, and Naoki wanted to appease him. "A-buh..." it was an odd sort of noise that Naoki made, and it was entirely by accident. He didn't expect that Bucky would offer to feed him. "..I can eat by myself.. Really.." A little nervous laugh and Naoki bowed his head and chewed on his chopsticks. His face flushed a light pink, Naoki wasn't sure why he felt to embarrassed. Perhaps it was the thought that he couldn't take care of himself properly.. but that wasn't it... Was it? He was touched by the fact that Buck cared so much about him, but was that why he was embarrassed? Naoki picked up his bowl of rice and started to eat it by itself. It was probably just the notion that Naoki would ask someone else to feed him. It seemed like such an .... Naoki wasn't quite sure what word he was looking for. The suggestion itself had embarrassed him, and he just nibbled at his rice. He didn't want Buck to worry about him, no, not at all.

BUCKMIDSTER ROEDOR
"I will fly to the future on mystery's wings." Buck pouts, knowing that he's fretting over something so simple as meals eaten, but he gets over-worried easily, and he's sure that if he doesn't, then Naoki possibly wouldn't (and couldn't!) care less. When he hears the reply he's given, he beams cheerily and continues to eat, obviously alright with the fact that Naoki's only eating rice. He uses the spoon to fix some things up, occasionally blabbering about how JM always takes a long time in the bathroom just to wash her hands, and how Buck always has to get in to pick her up and wash them for her. He also says that JM's mascara runs a lot when they wash her hands, because she keeps splashing and wetting her face when she isn't supposed to. He laughs a lot when he says something stupid, such as 'and then I forgot to blow-dry my foot -- erm' or 'I used to think my eyes were golf balls', and doesn't quite mind that he's possibly talking to himself. He stops, then, when he spots that he's eaten a lot, and flushes darkly, body quickly leaning back into his seat and spoon placed on his lap, along with his hands.
"Ah, I'm sorry. I got carried away again."
Buck isn't used to eating much, because when he was younger, his parents would scold him. His cheeks are still flushed in embarrassment, because he isn't able to control his hunger. Normally, physical hunger does not represent a problem to him; as all he needs to fill is his spiritual hunger, but considering that right now, he's comfortable and actually happier than normal, he's been unable to pay attention to how much he was actually getting. He stares at all the food containers, embarrassment still written all over his face, and feels his cheeks heat even more; turning darker and making him seem like a blushing schoolgirl. The male coughs, stands from his seat and walks over to the sink, washing his spoon and placing it in its proper place - or at least what he presumed was its proper place - and then sits right back.
"I, uh, forgot. I'm not supposed to eat much. If at all," Buck says, used to former habits with his family. "Please don't be mad," he continues, looking up through those innocent-looking blue optics. Lower lip trembles, and he looks like a seven-year old afraid of what his father would do to him, if he'd take out a belt and then hit him with it. It's a brief flash of what he's had to go through in his childhood, and he has no intention of going through it again. There's still that look of desperation written all over his face, but it looks more like a little kid's - rather than that of an eighteen year old, almost nineteen in December.
He fidgets in his seat, fists on his lap clenching and unclenching, waiting for whatever may come next. It's so unlike him, so uncharacteristic - but whatever he is normally can be overshadowed by the past - his father and the gleam in his eyes, the anger he showed in them. Buck doesn't want it to happen again - and he's not sure how Naoki may or may not react when he sees almost all his food gone from underneath his nose; because of a guest! The highest disgrace, for sure. It's these old habits again, haunting him. He's not sure how much more of this he can take. He doesn't know the look on Naoki's face right now, but he's hoping he'll be forgiven - and that the flash of a leather belt won't be seen.
Buck swallows.
He waits.[/blockquote]

Naoki was listening to Buck, though a lot of the words weren't exactly registering properly in his brain. He'd reply every now and then with a small 'Mmm'. Just so Buck knew that he was still listening. Even if the words didn't make much sense to his sleepy brain, he still listened to how the other boy talked, how excited he sounded. how happy he was. Naoki had seriously enough of eat and had placed his almost half-empty bowl on the table. He was staring into what was left of the rice as Buck chattered at the top of his head. Naoki eaten too much, and it was making him really drowsy, maybe? He was definitely ready for a nap, now. When Buck fell silent Naoki looked up, curiously. Hearing Buck apologize confused him. Sorry he got carried away.. what? Was it because he was tired he wasn't understanding what Buck was saying? He didn't see anything wrong, and was confused by the sudden shift in behavior. How strange, Naoki thought vaguely, his tired eyes half-lidded, brow furrowed in concern.
Naoki sat up in his chair when Buck got up to wash his spoon, then returned to the table. Naoki's head was feeling incredibly heavy, he rested it in his palm and just looked at Buck, unsure. Why would he be upset about something silly like that? Naoki let out a slow breath and straightened up with a little difficulty. ".. No, no it's alright, really.. I wouldn't have eaten much of it on my own, anyway." He smiled weakly. He was telling the truth, more often than not, Naoki would let food simply rot in the fridge, never feeling hungry enough to bother with heating it up and eating it. He let out a small groan and stood up slowly. Naoki walked around the table, then sat on the floor next to Buck, resting his chin on a knee, his hazel eyes looking up at him. "..I'm not mad.. Don't worry.." He gently curled his hands around his friend's, picking them up a little, holding them, keeping them from clenching and and unclenching, over and over.
Naoki didn't understand why Buck was acting this way, but he didn't feel he had to. The reason itself was unimportant. He reached up and touched Buck's cheek, then his hair. It was soft. Surprisingly so. He smiled gently at his friend, then rose to his feet. "As long as you're here, you don't have to worry about anything, okay?" Naoki bent over, and kissed the top of Buck's head. He wasn't sure why Buck was suddenly so... Naoki couldn't think of the word. But it worried him. He wandered back around the table. Seeing that the two of them had decidedly finished eating, Naoki started to clear it off, stacking the containers up and carrying them into the kitchen. He had a garbage disposal, so it didn't matter if there was food still in the containers when he placed them in the sink. He'd take care of it later. Dolly, noticing that Naoki had left the table stretched and yawned, then sauntered into the kitchen to bother her human.

BUCKMIDSTER ROEDOR
"I will fly to the future on mystery's wings." For a moment, Buck's getting ready for the customary belt, the shine that'll show in his eyes because it's being taken out and brandished, and the sermon. There's always a sermon. He's surprised, however, when he feels pressure against his knee, feels his face flush as fingers press lightly against his chin and begin to move through his hair. He doesn't know what feeling this is - he's never gotten in a situation close to this, except for the one that made him bleed and cry and wail. He remembers the touches like that, and almost instinctively flinches - thinks that the pain's going to follow. But it's not pain, and it's a soft, fluttery feeling in his stomach, when something presses against the top of head. His cheeks are colored even darker, and he listens to the words; puts them in his mind. For a moment, they weight more than that of his father's, that simple feeling of something soft and warm against the top of his head - beating out the fearful image of a man with a belt and anger written on his face. The redhead finds that Naoki's gone before he can find a proper response, and he watches with curious interest as he takes the things they'd used - or at least, Buck used - and takes them to the kitchen.
Almost immediately, the cheerful young man stands from his seat, bounds over towards his host with his heart still beating precariously in his chest. Buck's arms wrap around Naoki's neck from behind, and like some sort of Equivalent Exchange, he presses his lips - trembling and unsure - against the cheek of the one he's holding onto. "I wish that were true, but.. thank you," he says, for the moment; actually sounding serious. Before once more, he spots that Naoki's doing something with those plastic containers, blinking once, twice.
"Are you.. going to use those, when you throw the food away?" he asks, curious. Buck's never really thrown anything away, always finding a use for one thing or another. Surprisingly, he's only ever thrown old clothes into the secondhand shop. He'd done that with everything he's worn during his childhood days - trading them for rags he'd customized himself. Wasn't exactly throwing, though. He gave them to those who needed them. His grip hasn't exactly been let go, but they've loosened, and Buck still feels that incredibly amazing feeling in the pit of his stomach. Heat, spreading outward towards his fingertips. Blue eye twinkles again with that childish glee, and he lets go to waddle off towards the room he'd placed his bag in, picking up JM the pineapple and affectionately patting down the green leaves, like hair.
"I think my happy jar's going to be full today, JM.." Buck starts, smiling cheerily and tugging on the green locks. "Filled to the brim with happiness, yes yes!"
The random rhythm leads him to song, again, and as he plays with his pineapple best friend's hair, the redhead begins to move his lips to create words, rather than lyrics, out of nowhere. Singing about how happy he was. Singing about the sun and the sky and people and friends and goofy-smiling yellow pineapples.
Sing, sing, sing.[/blockquote]

His cheek remained hot where Buck had kissed him. The heat spread over his cheek and onto his nose. He really didn't expect a kiss in return, but he didn't mind it. Though, Naoki didn't know what Buck had meant in his statement. What problems did he face that worried him so much? When Buck had asked if Naoki would reuse the plastic containers, he simply grunted an incoherent reply. Sure.. he could.. though, his cabinets were filled with the things. He probably had more containers to keep food in, than actually plates and silverware to eat it with. Naoki knew that Buck was just switching subjects on him. Again, he didn't mind. He let the water run a minute before just leaving the things in the sink as they were, and wandering off, out of the kitchen, after the redhead.
Naoki was still worried about the previous episode, despite how his friend had quickly reverted back to a more cheerful mood. What was that all about, anyway. Suddenly Naoki began to think.. Perhaps this guy isn't as sunny as he seems to be. However, it was completely understandable. No one could possibly be happy all the time. Perhaps it's just a show.. but a show for who? Most of the things in life are quite contrary to what they appear to be. Naoki learned this, and saw it to be true quite often. Some of the most beautiful flowers lived in the most dangerous places. And even once you've braved the hazards in finding the flower, the flower turns out not to be what you expected. Perhaps not as beautiful, perhaps just as dangerous as all the things you faced while finding it.. Sometimes the happiest people are the most miserable on the inside... Maybe Naoki was just being stupid and thinking too much.. He stood there quietly, watching Buck as he sang with his JM.
Naoki just wanted to badly to hold him close, and protect him.
But protect him from what? He didn't know, but Naoki didn't think it mattered. Not much really mattered to Naoki anymore, but by chance he found something that suddenly did. Or, rather.. it found him. In the form of an odd stranger who acted like a child. Naoki didn't care that they had just met, he'd felt like it had been forever. In that short forever, Buck had managed to matter more than a lot of things. It had been such a long time since Naoki found something to care about. First it was art, then it was a kitten. A person had walked into his life before, but quickly retreated, unable to deal with him. But Now he had a Bucky. He yawned softly and approached Bucky from behind, his feet shuffling on the carpet. Naoki slowly curled his arms around his middle, pressing his nose in the crook of his neck. His eyes were near-closed, the small sliver of sight hardly able to see anything.
"..I'm tired.." Naoki rested his weight against the other boy, using Buck as a semi-crutch. If he decided to move away too suddenly then Naoki was bound to fall flat on his face. "..Nap with me?" Naoki meant what he'd said, though it sounded kind of odd out loud. It was much better wording that 'sleep with me?' for sure. He was almost positive that Buck would turn down the offer, but still he waited, holding him close.

BUCKMIDSTER ROEDOR "I will fly to the future on mystery's wings."
Buck blinks as his singing is halted, feels warmth once more in the pit of his stomach as Naoki's arms once more make their way around his waist. He tries his best not to seem fazed by it, regular cheerful look on his face as he laughs at the tone of voice his companion gives to show his fatigue. Tired, definitely. That's not a lie. He places JM back on the ground, the happy pineapple still happy - although now seeming like it had a reason to be so, and then; almost shyly, places his hand over the two hands that were wrapped around his midsection. Buck grins, listens to the request and resists the urge to laugh again. It sounds strange, but to him, it's one of the most honest requests he's ever heard. The dinosaur hunter nods, trying his best not to move too much for fear of letting Naoki fall over, and then lightly brushes his fingertips against the knuckles of the one who's apparently holding onto him, tight.
"Okay!" he answers, nice and simple, cheery grin still spread on his face. Buck's not tired much, if at all, and to be frank - he's anything but. Then again, if only to give Naoki here the comfort that one of his wishes will be granted today (Buck's thinking has made him re-wired to be nothing more than a burden), he accepts it. Besides, he thinks he needs a little rest to mellow out: get his regular self back and composed. Everything's different now, he has to remind himself. He's free now, and nothing can hold him back. Certainly, the redhead feels as though he's still constrained - after having been so for eighteen years or more, but he supposes that it'll wear off eventually. Maybe when he's thirty-six, he'll be fine. But that's too long of a time; and he wants a rush job. So he figures, the nap'll help straighten out his thoughts. Maybe let him dream about possibilities. Maybe dream about the future, even if he can't imagine himself older than twenty. Heck, he can't imagine himself the way he is now - stuck in his five-year old stage, and things like that. He still figures the nap'll do him good. He barely gets six hours of sleep every night.
"Do you want me to carry you~?" Buck asks, blinking and directing his sapphire optics towards the one who apparently chose to use him as support. Naoki looks incredibly tired, but the look of fatigue looks good on him. Just like how cheeriness matched Buck perfectly. In fact, the dino hunter was sure that even though Naoki was heavy, he'd get him to his room eventually. Maybe not by dragging, but maybe by telepathic powers - or he could command some non-existant dinosaur friends to carry him there for him. Something like that. Something strange, and out of this world. Buck smiles at the mere notion of it, and continues using his thumb to brush gently against Naoki's knuckles. "You really are tired, aren't you?"[/blockquote]

Naoki was quite surprised when Buck agreed to take a nap with him. It was a pleasant surprise, and so he didn't complain. Buck really didn't seem like the kind of person to take a late-morning nap. But Naoki was. He napped all the time, and he didn't know why. He had been to doctors about his 'sleeping problem' and no one really knew what to do about it. Some even said that it might be depression, but Naoki felt that he wasn't depressed at all and refused any sort of medication. It didn't matter, like all things that didn't matter, why bother? He carefully leaned his head forward and planted a kiss on Buck's collarbone.. It was kind of like a game of tag, now. Only with kisses. Naoki knew that it was a really silly thought, but he smiled, anyway. "..Yeah...'m tired.." Naoki closed his eyes and nuzzled the redhead's neck, then reached up to touch his cheeks. Naoki really liked the feel of Buck's skin. "..but I'm still able to walk to my room.. it's just down the hall... Yanno?" He smiled, it was a thoughtful offer, but unneeded. Plus, he doubted that Buck would be able to carry him without falling or dropping him. Buck was too cute, and Naoki just wanted to keep him there forever.
The sleepy artist slowly straightened up, his hands sliding around Buck's hips as he righted himself. Without much thought he took one of the redhead's hands in his and led the way down the hall to his bedroom. He opened the door of his room to reveal quite a disastrous-looking sight. There were unfinished paintings all along the walls, paintbrushes, palettes, easels, and random tubes of paint in really random places. Naoki didn't care if buck saw the mess, after all, it could've been a lot worse. On one side of the room were clothes, all over the floor, but carefully pushed away from all the paint-things on the opposite side of the room. It was obvious this was where the artist spent most of his time. Sleeping and working all in the same space. On each wall was a landscape for each season, all colorful and vibrant with people and animals. Naoki painted his walls knowing that the apartment was his, but he didn't care. He knew that his paintings wouldn't be able to stay if he ever moved out, but that was alright with him, too. It made him happy, and that's all that really counted at the time.
Near the middle of the room was his bed. It was amazingly cleared off and carefully made. The blankets and sheets were pretty plain compared to the rest of the room, but they were soft and warm. The bed was probably the only thing he ever straightened up on a regular basis. It was a larger-sized bed, Naoki not going cheap when it came to comfort during sleep. He thought it was criminal how most hotel beds were so uncomfortable, and thus, never really traveled much once he settled down. Naoki let go of Buck's hand and wandered to the bedside. He picked up the blankets and fell onto his bed, wiggling himself in his usual position. He bent his knees, pulling them close to his body and slid an arm beneath his pillow. He yawned softly and blinked a few times, staring at his night table. It was clear except for a rogue tube of paint and a small clock. Was that really the time? Naoki wiggled himself to one side of the bed, saving what space was left for Buck.

BUCKMIDSTER ROEDOR "I will fly to the future on mystery's wings."
Buck lets a small, soft whine leave him as he feels the kiss against his collarbone, almost instinctively tilts his head to the side at the feeling it gives him, stretching the warmth gathering in the pit of his stomach outward towards the tips of his fingers. He's surprised that this is happening, but he doesn't care anymore. He purses his lips and tries to keep himself from letting out anymore strange noises that he can't control, because it's strange and so unlike him. He barely even knows the name of that sound, the strange one that came from deep in his throat - though still sounded so childish, so like him; and yet so not at all. Maybe it's what he's heard from the entrances to those rated-R theaters: Buck's not sure.
The redhead lets out a small yelp and a 'crikey!' in a Steve Irwin accent, feels himself be dragged towards the hallway and down it, following Naoki like it's second nature. He looks around for a moment, lets the place sink in and the colors of the walls - and then he sees the room and he's in it, and he looks around, surprised again. There are unfinished paintings (he sort of expected them to be unfinished) and clothes strewn around, and he feels a smile appear on his face at the paintings and color stretched on the walls. His lips are curved upwards and matching the twinkling of his one visible eye, and he finds himself proud of his companion because he's oh-so creative. Buck squeaks like a little mouse when he feels his hand losing warmth, thinking he's dying, before remembering that it's just Naoki letting go. He, more calmly, watches the male walk towards the bed and make himself comfortable, not used to such conventions. Normally, if he's tired, Buck just falls on his doorstep and lets the wind close his door, and snores the night away. He, almost naively, walks towards the bed, pokes it with his index finger. And then, like he found Heaven, he laughs and lets himself fall into it face-first onto the pillows, arms on his side so as to keep himself from taking up most of the space. He turns around, however, looks up at the ceiling through those blue eyes, before turning to Naoki and lightly, again, kissing his cheek.
"Good night, baby~" Buck says in a softer, hushed tone, and then without knowing he lies right back down and closes his eyes - hums a lullaby that randomly comes to mind.
Rock-a-bye baby, on the tree top.. when the wind blows, the cradle will rock.. when the bow breaks, the cradle will fall.. and swoop! will come JM, saves the baby and all..
Buck finds himself suppressing a giggle, body turning so as to face opposite from his companion, and hands pressing together.
Sleepy-time.
He'll try.[/blockquote]

Naoki took in a deep breath and blinked slowly. His body relaxed into the mattress, and already his eyelids were heavy. He closed them, a soft sigh escaping from him. He didn't mind it when the bed bounced when Buck fell into it. Naoki remained quiet and still, despite his friend's wiggling. It was like he'd never laid in a bed before. He found it kind of cute. Naoki let his thoughts fade away, he was too tired to really think about that.. His eyes crack open slightly when he felt the warmth of a kiss against his skin. Naoki rubbed his cheek when the warmth left him, he was tempted to sit up. He chewed his lips, he wanted the feeling back.
He rolled over, his body facing the back of Buck's head and he curled himself around him. It didn't take long to settle himself around the other boy, his arms curled around him, pulling him close. He was so warm, and the position was incredibly comfortable. Normally it took a while for Naoki to warm up alone in his bed, but with Buck there, it was instant. Even when Dolly decided to join him, it still took a minute, the little cat only warmed his feet most of the time. He adored Buck and didn't care that it may have seemed awkward, pressing himself close to the other boy. Naoki gently pressed his fingertips against Buck's cheeks, running them down the other boy's face, following the line of his neck and shoulders. He quit his touching, and moved his hand away from Buck's head, afraid that he was bothering him, and let it lay limply, draped over his companion's waist. Just lying there was fine, too.
He moved his face closer, leaving a short line of kisses along Buck's shoulders before snuggling his head into the mess of red hair. He sighed again, this one more content than the one before. His breath slowed and grew deeper as Naoki began to relax again. He was so tired.. It was getting harder to blink, his eyes wanting to close, but the artist wanted so much to keep the open. He didn't want to wake up and find out that the morning never happened, to find out that he was just lost in another dream. His grip on Buck tightened, it can't just be another dream. It just can't. Naoki nuzzled the boy he held onto so desperately. He didn't mean to cling onto him so hard, but he couldn't help it. He didn't want to lose him.. "..Don't leave without telling me.. ..okay?" His worried words tumbled out of his mouth awkwardly. Naoki chewed on his lips.

BUCKMIDSTER ROEDOR "I will fly to the future on mystery's wings."
Buck feels a tingling feeling against his cheek, finds that it's difficult to find some sort of sanctuary or bliss when he's being fiddled with. There's still that uncomfortable heat, filling him whole and spreading out and make him practically ooze in embarrassment. He's never been fiddled with like this before, he muses. Never like this. There's a little more of those little noises at the light, feathery touches along his neck - and then he's quiet again, listening to the breathing of his companion. It's warm, right now. Buck knows it's warm, and he thinks he's going to faint from the heat. He's not used to this, he can't find the witty comebacks, the cheerful laughs and giggles that his true self practically spits out. Now, he finds that he's rendered utterly and laughably useless. This is foreign territory - and he doesn't know how to go on. The redhead mewls softly at the kisses, tries his best to seem like he isn't fazed by it; but his cheeks are fueled with red blood cells and they're just not going, are they? "Mm?" Buck finds that his words are awkward and fumbled, and that he struggles to let them out without stuttering. He smiles a little at the protectiveness, feels his hands rest gently atop Naoki's, once more rubbing the knuckles; for lack of anything else to do. Buck can't fall asleep right now, and he's sure that no matter how much he tries, he won't. The dino hunter is ready to make a face, but figures it won't make much of a difference. He's still leaning against Naoki, and finds that he doesn't mind the close proximity. Cuddling is sweet, he thinks. Even if it's with someone you've just met. "I won't," he promises, fingers running lightly along Naoki's arm, trying to look anywhere but at the face behind him. He doesn't want to turn around, no matter how tempting it sounds. "I won't go without you knowing. That would be horrible, won't it~?"
Without knowing, he finds his fingers lightly curling around the arm around his waist, smile on his face changing from a simply happy one to one with some kind of deeper meaning beneath it. This is a moment of pure satisfaction, and although it's in a room of mess and paint and things strewn here and there, Buck knows that this couldn't happen anywhere else. A single hand lifts, rests lightly on the cheek of one he's not sure what he feels for yet than the caring he feels for every human being on earth, and then his thumb strokes it; and he laughs - giggles - body moving a little in the hold. "You'll miss me?" he asks, wondering to what extent he's begun to mean to dear Naoki, as of now.[/blockquote]

He found that he was worrying far too much to fall asleep.. He didn't like the thought of such a good morning being nothing more than a dream. It couldn't be, could it? Naoki wanted to pinch himself, just to be sure, but he wasn't willing to move around to much, not while holding Buck. Even if he was just a dream, Naoki didn't want to bother him. Though, as quiet as the redhead was being, Naoki could tell that he wasn't exactly relaxing enough to fall asleep. His breathing had yet to slow down enough, and Naoki wondered if Buck was going to be able to nap at all.. Naoki wasn't going to be able to sleep, either. Not until he was absolutely sure Buck wasn't just going to run away would he be able to rest easy.
Naoki nuzzled Buck quietly, thinking.. He liked the little noises that Buck made because of him. Who knew something as small as a kiss could force out such a sound. Naoki wasn't sure whether that sounds were of dislike or pleasure. He was sure he wasn't hurting him, so he decided that it was the latter. He was tempted to kiss him some a little more.. Just to hear those little noises again.. but he kept himself from doing so. It wouldn't have been very kind of him to do that, now would it? He chewed on his lips, listening to how different Buck sounded when his ear was right against his back. It was a lot deeper and it echoed a bit. Naoki smiled. He was being silly now...
"Of course I'd miss you." Who wouldn't? It didn't make any sense to Naoki, thinking about how anyone could deny the redhead anything. He acted so childlike and lovable, with his wide blue eye and cheerful songs. He seemed so innocent, how anyone could resist his charm was beyond him. He snuggled himself against his friend, blinking a few times. His dark eyelashes lightly brushing the back of Buck's neck. "... I would miss you..." Naoki repeated himself, expressing quietly how much Buck meant to him. Naoki closed his eyes and gently placed another row of tiny kisses long Buck's neck. The skin was so soft, there.. Naoki couldn't help himself. He pressed his nose against the collar of Buck's shirt, pushing it down to expose the soft skin underneath. He breathed slowly out of his mouth, his voice soft and whispered. "..Very much..."

BUCKMIDSTER ROEDOR "I will fly to the future on mystery's wings."
Buck's rendered surprised as his back arches a tad, another one of those long, low mewls escaping his lips. He's not exactly the best at holding in noises, being a natural singer, and a noisy person in general. The dino hunter purses his lips in partial embarrassment, cheeks flaming and heart beating loudly in his ribcage. Part of him wishes that Naoki won't be able to hear it, but he figures that this wish will go to waste. He's probably thinking about it now, probably wondering why Buck's heart is going pumppumppump so fast - because Buck is wondering, too. A racing heart is something foreign to him, unknown; and he blindly wanders through a forest with no flashlight to guide him through the darkness. His back arches slightly at the pressure Naoki puts on it, and the shorter lad finds his cheeks coloring even more.
'Ah, stopstopstop..' he mentally scolds himself, for acting like this and not being able to control his throat. His fingers curl tighter around Naoki's arm, his teeth bite into his lower lip at the kisses along his neck. He's arching a bit more and mewling, and he feels so strange and so different and whatthehellisthis?"Ahn.. I'd miss you too," Buck stutters out, in his best attempts to not seem fazed, to not stutter and let his words come out as a strangled noise of what he now knows to be pleasure. So that's what the warm thing in his stomach is, the butterflies that flutter around; the little curls of delight tickling his skin and making him vulnerable and ethereal.".. I don't mind if I seem selfish, but I'd want you for myself," the boy continues, feels a little ticklish sensation against the skin of his back as the fabric of his clothing is pushed downward - feels the fur brush lightly against his bare skin and then go down. He's a bit scared, as memories flash briefly within his mind, and then he remembers that this is Naoki, and Naoki wouldn't hurt him.. right? Buck presses a tad against the one who currently finds it fit to lie in bed with him, tilts his head a bit to allow more access: without knowing that such a simple action seems to give so much. It's just pure instinct that drives him to do whatever he's doing now, the sounds, the reactions, and everything in between. But he knows that Naoki won't hurt him, and trusts in him. There's so much trust there, and Buck feels like he's going to explode."All for me."[/blockquote]
